With this client… she is a teenager, the thing with teenagers they go through so many fazes. I have been doing this client and her mama for years. She’s is at the age where she wants to explore fashion colors so when I got the text from her mama about how she wanted blue I had two options to offer. One, highlight her using bleach and compromising her beautiful hair… or telling them about the option of tape in extensions… two days of conversations I explained how if Abby wanted this specific blue I would have to bleach her till she was Pale white then put the blue on over it… we all know teenagers love washing their hair. So the life of the blue would possibly last 2 weeks at most. And then it would be an ugly green/yellow color … most likely, this client would like a different color at this point. So I gave the option of fashion color in tape in extensions… so here you see a flawless blue highlight done by using tape in extensions that will last 6-8 weeks. I promise by then my client will be ready for a change . Always remember how important your clients hair is… there are many ways to accomplish the desired look ! Happy BIRTHDAY @abby_ab_cadabby

I’ve been making black to blonde since 2010 💆🏼‍♀️💁🏼‍♀️
Last year this client boxed dyed her hair red. We got her back to blonde and she comes every 8 weeks for a root touch up to maintain her blonde look. To keep it healthy she used olaplex purple shampoo and conditioner and get a tiny trim each time. 😉
